In Person & Telehealth Sessions
Since childhood, I have always been a foodie and had a love of cooking and an interest in health. It’s important to me that everyone should be able to enjoy their food and at the same time feel comfortable with their own body. That’s why I consistently devise creative solutions to the challenges that have kept my clients from achieving optimal health and wellness.
As a dietitian, I specialize in helping both adults and adolescents with various dietary needs, ranging from health and wellness to more specific conditions such as eating disorders, diabetes, kidney disease, and cardiac disease, among others. Whatever challenges you are facing, I will be there to guide you.
I offer pre-and post-natal nutrition counseling and guidance on food-related behavioral concerns. My approach is centered around simple lifestyle changes and consistent motivation and support, which, when applied correctly, lead to optimal outcomes for my clients. I’m invested in your success and want us to stay engaged as you begin your path to your goals and beyond.
Previously, I taught undergraduate courses in nutrition education and counseling, food science and cooking, and basic nutrition at SUNY College in Oneonta. Additionally, I have over six years of experience working in various positions as a Registered Dietitian, including long-term care, acute care, private practice, and home care.
My educational background includes a completed dietetic internship and a didactic program in dietetics certificate from SUNY College at Oneonta, as well as a Master’s Degree in Dietetics from SUNY Oneonta.
Most recently, I am completing training to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor so I can walk my clients through regaining a healthy relationship with food and body image.
My approach of Intuitive Eating focuses on 10 basic principles that create a more wholistic approach to nutrition.
I enjoy cooking and spending time with family, friends, and my dog in my free time.

Hi there! I’m Danielle, and I love food! I also love connecting with and helping people. I believe food, health, and nutrition go hand in hand. In high school, I realized that my love for cooking, preparing, and eating amazing food could take me far, because I wanted to learn about food and its connection to health and nutrition. So I applied to colleges with accredited nutrition programs and ultimately chose SUNY Oneonta, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics, with minors in Spanish and Chemistry. During my Master’s program, I completed my dietetic internship with a focus on community nutrition. I also played on the tennis team for most of my college career, so health and nutrition were vital in my personal life, especially during our busy seasons.
In my nutrition counseling, I aim to empower my clients to make small changes in their lives each day, week, month, and year. I use specific, unique, practical, measurable, attainable, and sustainable approaches to help clients succeed with the goals they set.
I have worked as a registered dietitian in sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care, as well as in clinical acute care. I have provided, and continue to provide, medical nutrition therapy for patients with cardiac disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases and concerns, kidney disease, liver disease, and neurological conditions, as well as patients who are postoperative or in critical care, and those who simply want to eat more healthfully. Most recently, I completed Monash University’s online dietitian course, Low FODMAP Diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I also enjoy and appreciate many intuitive eating concepts and interventions, and I plan to continue promoting them in my work here.
I currently work as an acute-care dietitian at Lenox Hill Hospital. There, I’ve worked on general medicine floors and general surgical units, and I’ve provided inpatient education to bariatric surgery patients after surgery. Today, I work with patients in the neurosurgical intensive care unit, as well as surgical and orthopedic patients, many of whom are pre- or postoperative.
I’m a social butterfly, but I also value time to myself. Away from the office, I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, walking, listening to music, audiobooks, and podcasts, connecting with friends and loved ones, cooking, and visiting new places to experience amazing cuisines and dishes! I’m so excited to be part of this team!

Hi, I’m Susanna! I’m a Registered Dietitian who believes nutrition should support your life, not become your whole life. One of the biggest disconnects between people and their health today is that we’ve made things far too complicated. My goal is to bridge that gap by helping each client find an approach to nutrition that feels realistic, sustainable, and right for them.
My love of food, wellness, and learning how nutrition supports both physical and mental health goes back to my teenage years. I had the privilege of studying Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Sciences at the University of Vermont before moving to New York City, where I completed my Master’s degree in Nutrition and my Dietetic Internship at Hunter College.
As a dietitian, I want my clients to feel more confident and intuitive around food, without feeling like they have to follow a long list of rules to be “healthy.” My approach is weight-inclusive, with an emphasis on balance, flexibility, and building habits that actually fit into your life. Eating well doesn’t have to mean giving up your favorite foods, eating perfectly, or constantly worrying about what you “should” be eating. Instead, I work with each client to understand their individual needs and find practical strategies that make nutrition feel more manageable.
Through my work as an acute-care clinical dietitian, I’ve built a strong foundation in medical nutrition therapy and in caring for medically complex patients. I’m well versed in gastrointestinal nutrition and frequently work with clients managing IBS, IBD, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and other GI concerns. I also support clients with diabetes, cancer, and chronic kidney disease.
My experience in eating disorder treatment has also shaped the way I practice. Much of my graduate training focused on eating disorders, and I worked at an eating disorder treatment center while completing my Master’s degree. That experience showed me the deep complexities of food, health, and our relationships with our bodies, and reinforced the importance of meeting each person where they are.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the movies with friends, out to dinner with family, or walking around New York City with a favorite podcast. I genuinely love the field of nutrition, and even more, I love working with people. As your dietitian, I aim to be a trusted advocate for your health and overall well-being, and I truly can’t wait to meet you!
